Kirarin's Room☆
Welcome to
Things I LOVE ☆
I mainly want this website to be a casual space where I just document stuff that makes me happy. This could either be nostalgic stuff I grew up with that I would like to archive as a part of my unique experience growing up, OR stuff that I recently stumbled upon (on the internet or IRL) that I find amusing or exciting.
My Creative Projects ☆
I dabble in a LOT of different hobbies from fashion design, crochet and crafting, graphic design, music production and more! I mainly showcase the things I make on their appropriate social media sites, but the idea of there being eyes on me the second I share something actually inhibits me from creating and sharing as much stuff as I could.
I want to use this site as my corner for unlimited creativity! Of course there are still going to be people who see the stuff I share here, but this feels a lot more intimate and a LOT less daunting than uploading to somewhere like.. IDK YOUTUBE or even Tiktok?? LMAO So I will probably post more practice-type stuff here, or document my progress on my projects, etc!
My Own Unfilitered Story ☆
Here, I get to answer the question for myself "Who is Kirarin?"
This is where I get to use my own unfiltered voice, w/o the extra noise of social media. I have made several attempts at introducing myself on the internet, but none of those attempts have stayed up for long because I get scared. LOL
"What if I said something that can be taken the wrong way?"
"What if someone who hates me is secretly laughing at every post I make?"
(Yes, these are very real thoughts that run through my head every time I post anything on social media T-T)
in this current era of the internet, it feels like anything you say on the internet can be misconstrued and used against you. This leads to lots of well-intentioned people being too afraid to share their voice (in an era where it should be more accessible than ever before for anyone to share their voice).
Proof I Existed ☆
The internet is basically a digital museum. I want to create an eternal digital archive of ME, so that one day when I am physically not around anymore, there is at least proof that I even existed. LOL maybe that sounds morbid, but that is much better than nothing! I totally encourage others to do the same as well!
I hope you enjoy your stay!
